PracticeRobert Kofman is a partner in the Corporate Restructuring group at RSM Richter. He brings extensive experience to the firm gained through over 13 years of involvement with distressed businesses. He has provided a wide variety of distress-related services to secured lenders, unsecured creditors, debtors and purchasers in essentially all industries, including forestry, metal fabrication, transportation, financial services, textiles, manufacturing, distribution, retail, real estate and technology. Robert has routinely been engaged to perform viability and due diligence assessments, with a view to developing and implementing comprehensive turnaround strategies, both in the context of formal and informal restructurings. Robert has been involved with several of Canada's highest-profile restructurings, including The Ravelston Corporation Limited, Jetsgo Corporation, Confederation Life Insurance Company, The T. Eaton Company Limited, Dylex Limited and The Canadian Red Cross Society. He also has been involved with numerous distress situations throughout the United States.
