Bob is a retired KPMG LLP Senior Partner.  At KPMG his was a member of the Transactions Advisory Group and focused on multi-national restructuring with an emphasis on financial institutions.  Bob provided leadership in a number of significant proceedings including Confederation Life Insurance Company, Reliance Insurance Company, Canadian Branch, Telesystem International Wireless Inc., Sovereign Life Insurance Company, Central Capital Corporation, Coulter Financial Group of Companies, Sulpetro Limited, United Canso Oil & Gas Ltd. Challenger Drilling Ltd., The Cattermole Timber Group, Vista Homes Ltd and Abacus Cities Ltd.  He is recognized as the leading expert on life insurance insolvency's and is a frequent speaker throughout North America on this subject.  His other involvements have included major assignments in the oil & gas, real estate and forestry sectors.

Bob was a member of the KPMG LLP Board of Directors from 2002 to 2008, the last two years as Chair of the Board.

Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy, Management Advisory Board: Member 1999 - 2009.

Bob was also a member of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy Task Force on Personal Insolvency.  He is also a member of the International Association of Insurance Receivers, American Bankruptcy Institute and the Institute of Corporate Directors.
